Registration, confirmation and payment.
1- The course quotation is valid for 4 weeks from the date of
issue and the Arabic Language Center
in Cairo
has the right to change either the price or any condition after 4 weeks.
2- After the student accepts the quotation and completes the
registration form (homepage, fax or mail), the center in Cairo will send the student an invoice.
3- The invoice is valid for 4 weeks.
2. Insurance
Before
traveling to Cairo the student can obtain
information about Health Insurance, Baggage Insurance and Travel
Cancellation Insurance from independent sources, considering the Arabic Language
Center in Cairo does not offer these options.
3. Visa
All foreign visitors require a visa when visiting Egypt. If
you plan to reside in Egypt
for less than 1 month, you will be able to buy the visa upon arrival at
"Cairo
International Airport" (only applies to
certain nationalities). In addition, your passport must be valid for at
least six months after your departure date from Egypt. If
you intend to stay longer, please contact your embassy or the Egyptian
embassy in your country. In both cases you have to apply for a visa on
your own.
4. Transportation from airport
-If
you have booked a transfer from the airport, we kindly request that you
send us your exact flight details (airline, flight number and arrival
date) 4 weeks in advance to your departure.
-In case we receive your flight details later than this date, we cannot
guarantee transportation.
-One of our public relations assistants will meet you at the outer gate
of the customs' hall with your name on a sign and the logo of the Center.
-The airport transportation only includes a transfer from Cairo Airport to the apartment. At the
end of the course you will need to organize transportation to the airport
on your own, but the Center's staff is more than willing to provide any
help needed.
-In case your flight is delayed, the person who picks you up will wait
for two additional hours. If the arrival time is from 2 am to 7 am, no
transportation from the airport is possible.
- In case you have not booked a transfer, you will receive the key one
day before the start of the course date between 6 p.m. and 11 p.m. at the
Center or on the first day of the course.
5. Accommodation
We
will email you all relevant housing information according to your
selected preferences.
6. General conditions
(1)
According to the results of the language tests, participants will be
allocated to different language levels. It is possible to change the
group during the first 3 days with the approval of the instructor.
(2) Class instruction will take place from Saturday to Wednesday from
9:00 am to 1:15 pm. The Center is closed for the weekend on
Thursday and Friday. For private courses the plan of the lessons will be
arranged in cooperation with the instructor.
(3) There are no classes on official Egyptian holidays.
(4) Students' family and friends can call or fax the Center from Saturday
to Wednesday 9:00 am to 1:15 pm. The direct line is:
